So I read in the paper the other day where a guy who OD'ed on heroin woke up out of a coma. He had been declared brain dead and removed from life support and then BAM sits up and is fine. Everyone in the article seemed to think it was an act of God. This just reminds me why I'm comfortable with there being no God. Seriously, I'd rather not believe than think he was hateful and vengeful. Background- one of my best friends went into a coma and died in November last year. 23 years old. It came out of nowhere and he did not wake back up. So I am really supposed to believe God laid his hand upon some heriod addict rather than my friend who literally never said a bad thing about anyone. My friend who was nice to strangers, he even gave them rides, you're not supposed to give strangers rides. My friend who could make me laugh simply by walking into a room. Fuck spell checking this entry, I'm crying now and it's all "God's" fault.
god is the reason people die in holy war and over idealogies. god needs to bitch slap his stupid followers in all his stupid religions if this isn't the way it's supposed to be
