So far I've had a great weekend. I saw StanLee and witnessed him ditch a panel cuz he's over booked and left the artist and writer to the seekers just hangin by a thread. It was sad, but at the same time comical.
I saw many many action figures, cosplayers, amazingly put together costumes, some fabulous artwork and most amazingly of all, I meet one of my favorite suicide girls. Lolana
I was in complete shock, cuz I didn't know who any of the other SG's where, and I kinda figured I wouldn't know any of them at all, but like a ray of shining light from an unseen window, Lolana was there to greet me with warm hello's and surprises at me being not only a memeber, but a fan of her's as well.
I will get to see this lovely lady again today and through the kindness of her heart she agreed to sign something sg related for me. I wish she was in the book, or the dvd, or playing card deck, but alas, she is not. I forgot how new of a sg she is. But beautiful all the same.
So my plan is to draw a few sketches, maybe a long portrait of her, and get her to sign that. or maybe just buy some pj's for her to sign lol. with her lips while I'm wearing them, giggidy giggidy. (as the inner voice inside my head screams NO, NO, YOU DIDN'T SAY THAT!!!! YOURE AWFUL!. in which case, I'll agree, but I like to think of myself as a cute, funny kind of awful that one can't find in very many places.)
So, Lolana, if you read this, I love you and appreciated the small token of meeting you and not only that, but finding out that your character, your personality, is just as beautiful as the body they reside in. and that brings the most satisfying warmth to my heart like no other. Of course I have only meet once so it maybe too soon to tell, but I got a feeling I'm right in this.
oh and before I forget, here's some pics of the lovely Lolana, go give her some love and cyber affection, she has two sets in member review that are spectacular. so lets get them front paged!
