Well hello!
Once again I find myself back on these hallowed pages, trying not to lurk and making as many pointless comments as possible! So far, no good. Social media frequently fails at the 'social' part these days! The world is getting smaller with all these links and methods of contact but people are definitely not getting friendlier. A simple 'hello' used to work wonders.
Anyways, during my time away I have mostly been working here: Chaos Cards My brother and I own the business and it's going fantastically. 2 warehouses on the go and it's been a mental year.
On top I also paint, putting the degree to good use and also progressing nicely. Been showing in London all summer and now moving in to a much better studio space....This one:
Can't wait to get in to it properly, unfortunately with the busy Christmas period and my gran passing away time has not been forthcoming. I'm packed up and ready to move in but it will have to wait until the end of this week.
I also made it down to Dorset for a week away. Lovely place and highly recommended. First week off in 14 months was also much needed! I think this is as close to a smile as I get these days!
I also had my first session as a painting tutor - Being called sir in a school and not in an ironic way! The class were doing a project on the butchers shop and painting the flesh was my task. It was a really interesting day, and schools have moved on a lot from my day!
I didn't get any decapitated animals during my 'A' Levels!
Anyways, I'm off for day Three with my handicapped twin. He has depleted all energy from my body and I have no idea how he does it - we are apparently the same age but you wouldn't bloody know it! I think I may fit in a quick coffee somewhere before hand, a little treat for me!
I'm really back here to meet some people, talk and interact. So please say hello, and please please please not just because you need votes for a set! I obviously don't object to talking to girls who like to show me their boobs but, and it's a sign of maturity that I can say this, I would rather it was not the only reason that someone would speak to me!
