It's really cool when someone you thought you were friends with and were close to simply removes you from their life without explanation. Real awesome for the old self-esteem.

And on that note, I think the amount that we rely on digital communication for our relationships encourages people to just cut others out entirely. It's so easy to block people, ignore their texts, etc. Technology definitely enables this kind of stuff.

@hex I don't see why. It's so crappy. I thought it was one of those people. @bandit I don't get it, because I noticed we were a little distant a couple weeks ago so I brought it up and she just said she was really busy with work and stuff. @lewolf I certainly strive to be. Too many people are rude and shitty to practically strangers, for no reason at all. I honestly don't think I'm all that nice or good of a guy, but I don't find it challenging to be polite to people. The only thing I can think of is that her boyfriend of three years is the jealous and controlling type and they'd been having a rough patch. Maybe that had something to do with it.
