The shit occuring in this country is quite depressing. The change of weather, the smell in the air, is such a reminder of the events almost 4 years ago. Still feels like it was yesterday. Not a big fan of Green Day. However, wake me up when September ends.

I'd enjoy it here much more if my family let me out of their sight. You'd think that they would realize I'm an adult now that I've moved all the way up the coast, but instead I haven't even seen the light of day since I've been back. [My family is terrified of hurricane season and their house is all shuttered up.] I'm really looking forward to getting back to New York. October is one of my favorite months. It's the perfect weather.
