saturday i said goodbye to a couple of friends, at least for a while. it was a good night.
aaron and i went to the coalesce farewell show. it was fucking amazing. ive seen them before, but it was good to see jess playing with them again. holy hell they ripped shit up. im glad i took my camcorder! i saw Flimshaw there, dint get to say hi to him, but he was there. i hope he comes back to the sight soon. aaron also decided to make his first foray into stage diving and i caught it in all its glory! it was good to see a lot of old friends from when i used to be more part of the scene or whatever. found out mean dean is back in town, so thats good, ill have to start catching up with him. it was a fitting farewell to a band that had so much influence on me for so long.
another thing that made the night special, was that it was aarons last night in town before moving back to portland. he was here for three months and i only got to see him like three times, including satruday. stupid mono. but it was great, we hung out at his folks place for a while, going through pics of his trip across europe and asia. then we laughed at all his old concert tshirts he had in a box. van halen rules! we went and grabbed some food, then headed to lawrence for the show. it was a reallky good night, just like old times, we even stopped at the gas station on the way out of lawrence for donuts and sodas on the way home, jsut for fun. im gonna miss him, but im planning a tirp to see everyone in portland in the spring, so itll be cool.
it was a crazy few days, but i needed that, its been a while.
on a more saddening note, nate and i couldnt quite get my hard drive installed on the laptop, so im gonna have to have a professional do it this week. itll cost me more money i dont have and ill be without my lappy for even longer . i guess ill survive, ive gone this long without it, but i was sooooo wanting it back by now.

oh yeah, i put up a new pic, its been a while, so i thought what the hell, i took it last night. dontcha love how im rocking the faux hawk? those are my new glasses, i like them, i can finally see!!! also, what about the facial growth? like it or no? keep it, shave it, whats yr opinion?
