Thanks to everybody who sent birthday wishes! Hate to be reminded of my getting older.. 
But it's good to know that people take notice.
The last few days I've been busy showing a bunch of Americans with interests in prehistory around the area. We visited the Haithabu Viking Museum and Schloss Gottorf at Schleswig, the Schleswiger Dom, the Thorsberg Bog, the Viking Museum in Ribe (Denmark) and (somewhat off topic) the Marzipan shop in Lbeck.
I think I should do this professionally.
If you ever come to visit Northern Germany, drop me a line and I'll see waht I can do for you... Now I'm tired, though. And I'm late for the Icelandic exam today. 
Oh by the way, no more on that love affair that was the center in my recent posts. It turned out the way I expected. No interest whatsoever on her side. Damn, I don't handle rejection very well. Which is funny, considering the practice I have had by now.
