Well, my issue is that I DON'T really want the colour to be locked into my hair, because I want it to be easy to get rid of when I decide enough is enough. (I've never done anything this drastic with my hair colour before.) 'Cause keeping it fresh with some colour in my shampoo I can do, but I don't know if I want to if it's gonna be a pain to get out in a few months time just because all the "layers" of colour have absorbed into my hair and won't come out (that's what happened last time when I used black semi-permanent toner).

Where can I get hold of Rusk colour? Is it the same kind of thing as fudge, like a taint rather than a dye?

I've actually heard that for the fudge to have the best effect you should keep it in overnight. My only problem with this is, how do you make sure it doesn't stain your skin if it's on that long ('cause you're bound to get some smudging on your forehead or your ears - that can't look pretty!)?
