microfilm is great...its cool to be able to go back in time and read some of the stuff that happened...im personally not into this modern shit that happens. i like reading theatrical, macabre, exciting stuff!!!
August 1754!!!!
"On tuesday last, betwixt the hours of five and six, as one Craven, a cloth maker, who lives in Horbury, was returning from Leeds Market, he was stopp'd on Rothwell-Hague by two men on horseback, one of which brandishing a sword before his face and demanding his money, took from him two guineas in gold and two shillings and sixpence in silver"
Look at how that is written!! the section with "BETWIXT" in particular is awesome its like poetry you just dont get that any more!!! oh yeah nearly forgot...
August 1754 (again! it was one crazy month! i can tell ye!)
"...Alice Davenport, was struck to death upon her return home from Beeston Village, her body left naked within the dug ditch next to the road, upon examing her body, coroner Willis found her to have thrush of the mouth..."
