my aunt and uncle who are missionaries in Haiti were not hurt in the earthquake. they live 35 miles from the epicenter so they felt it but they're village is still intact. the emails they sent were incredible and sad... cell phone service is out for the whole country pretty much and no one can get...

Ha! It has it's ups and downs. I did an artist residency when I was in undergrad which meant we painted all day and drank lots of beer at night, oh and went skinny dipping. It was pretty sweet!

i met 2 of sams sisters last night. i think it went really well. we had dinner at this really delicious asian fusion place. it was fantastic. the spring rolls and chocolate mousse in fried wantons were killer.
my only worry is that i was making comments about the other people in the restaurant, like i always do while people watching, and now i'm paranoid...
