Egh, feel like shit.
Went to Next Big Thing 5. It was alright. We definately felt old there. Loads of middle schoolers running about the place, complete with emo makeup and expensive ripped clothes. Had to laugh at some point.
We didn't laugh when we were in the pit and Caitlin got nailed with a bottle. Or when we're trying to watch the show and there's enough weed in the air to get high. Then some jackasses started moshing right next to us and was fucking crushing the shit out of everybody. I was getting a headache and Cailtin wasn't feeling to well with a lump de Aquafina, so I grabbed her and basically was a jackass and pushed people over to get out of the pit. We got tired of it, and left early. It's ok we missed some of the bands, we've already seen My Chem twice this year, and I've seen Staind live a few times. We got to see Our Lady Peace do an acoustic set for the 97X Green Room CD. Should be cool. Most of the other bands we weren't impressed with, sounds just like listening to their CD.
Though one of the cool things was watching the Crazy Taters food booth. They take potatoes and hook them up to a little do-hicky and make thin potato strips which they then deep fry and serve with cheese and bacon bits. Oh so good.
Anyway, the weekend was egh. Got our treadmill on Friday. Caitlin played in a inter-faculty basketball game, in which the other team rigged the scoring. Caitlin is so cute when she plays. We drove out to Clearwater afterwards to LanMines and played some C-Strike! Caitlin also kicks ass as a terrorist. Boom! Headshot! It was great to watch her kick other guys asses.
Anyway, that was a good weekend. We bought groceries on Sat and stocked up on really healthy stuff so I think we're doing well for eating right and exercising!
