I haven't slept all week & I only stomach food because I know the baby needs it. I'm stumbling around these empty rooms like drunken clowns who refuse to leave the bar. Through sopping green eyes, I saw my reflection beneath this dripping freckled skin & it looked so tattered like my favorite purple jacket I grew out of years ago. I searched this place in every angle for any sign of existence other than this hollow humming of the furnace, but all I found was that exhausting dial tone steaming by the kitchen corner sink.
