Went to the Joiners Saturday night to see Orange Goblin. My Mate's band Moral Low Ground were supporting. They've got a second guitarist now who looks a bit like Mika. My old housemate came down from Manchester for it and kept singing Grace Kelly at him. They went down really well, 2nd guitar makes so much difference.
It was one of those nights where every one showed up, got tanked up and went off to a club afterwards, no big plan. Everyone was happy, no issues with anyone. It was amazing!
I did miss Orange Goblin though, my friend broke up with her boyfriend so I was being a shoulder to cry on and missed all of it. Doh.
Spent yesterday with the hangover from hell and cursing the man who made me set my alarm clock for 6.30 am. On a bloody Sunday. We didn't get home til 2.30. Sleep about 4. Git.
Been out in the forest today walking the pack. Stomping through bogs with our Floyd, a Pointer, a Spinger Spaniel, 2 Labs, a Jack Russell and carying a Minature Dachshund because her legs were too short and she kept falling over. Bless.
