Well, I've got all my offers back for Uni, been offered places at Bristol UWE and Portsmouth. And after visiting both.... I prefer Portsmouth. Which is not what I was expecting.
I got on the train to go down there, walked to the Uni, looked around, chatted to the staff and students and thought "I can see myself doing this every day for the next three years"
When I went to Bristol I just thought "nice day trip, but I don't want to spend four years here"
It's good, feels like every thing has slotted into place. I'll be going to the local uni, so I can stay in my house, with my friends and family around (I was a bit worried I'd slip back into my depression nightmare without them around) and my dog, I won't be spending so much money so I should graduate without going bankrupt and losing my house. It's all good.
I was so worried that I'd love Bristol and get in and have to choose between a good degree and my sanity. And I did love it, but not enough. And I'm gloating that they let me in because it is a good course, just not right for me.
I'm spending Saturday night with my mad cousin for her birthday so that should be a laugh and a half. Going to a comedy club so it better be!
The way everythings going, Johnny Depp will drop in my lap next week (he apparantly has a house nearby so it's possible)!
Taking it too far now aren't I?!
