It was so awesome running into you at the store today! I'm glad you said something!! How about this: let's get together one weekend soon (maybe the end of May?) and the boy and I will cook you and the wifie dinner. Sound good? smile

Well, this needed to be said.

Another reason i'm sad about the state of politics.
sofia:
first off, your wife is too hot for the internet. goddamn.

second, i don't know why that pic would be cut, its totally beyond me. it was totally my favorite one.
sinnah:
thanks ! smile

And here i figured that SG would be one of the last places i'd see people, least of all the SG's themselves, being so upset and hung up on their bodies.

But then, i guess that's probably an idealistic viewpoint to take. People will have their hangups no matter what, i suppose.
octological:
Hey, how are you?

The reason for my previous post.

Keith Olbermann is probably one of the last honest men on television. Maybe he should be president. I'm curious to see how he's going to rip into the next one.

Fuck politics. Fuck the media. Fuck all of that shit. I'm so tired of the stupid lies and spin and bullshit that now i totally understand why nobody bothers with it.

I can't believe this shit.

Ok here's the deal:

I kinda hate everything right now. But of course, this year hasn't exactly gotten off to the best start, so that's probably a factor.

Everything that i used to enjoy for fun seems to have turned to crap, or been made unavailable to me in one way or another. I disagree with a lot of people whom i would normally agree...

Sometimes us idealists are the most easily disapointed b/c life "never" seems to live up to our expectations. But, in truth, life is what you make it, so if you're seeing negativity everywhere, more negativity is going to fly your way.
ferretbite:
Sounds to me as if you just need to take a weekend off to either a peaceful retreat or one hell of an adrenaline rush.

Can't margue with you about the rest of the things you say, but as far as articles go, they're not nearly as interesting, and the new format doesn't help, and the sets... well yeah, I really liked seeing Dot's last but creativity hasn't been very abundant as of late.

Don't have many suggestions on Anime, did you ever watch the one based on Alexander of Macedonia's life? Here in Mexico it was called "Alexander" I believe it's called Reign or some other thing like that in the US. Pretty neat, a bit like Aeon Flux too.

And finally it's not really surprising that there's such a low standard, when you think of it, most things seem to be designed to be disposable now: phones, computers, food, clothes, buildings. Shit's not made to leave an imprint anymore it just exists and serves a purpose. Even us humans seem to be trying hard to fit a certain role to be filled by someone else after we're discarded.

/rant comment.

Hi.

I don't comment to most people most of the time because i rarely have anything to say. It's not because i don't like anybody; that's far from the case. I just REALLY don't have anything to say that i feel would actually contribute to the conversation, besides "uh-huh" or "+1" or "*hugs*" or something equally repetitive.

Maybe i'm just less social now... or at...

Thanks, man. I know that no cat will ever replace our beloved Albus, especially his motor-engine purr. I can't believe that's gone forever.

But we're most likely going to get another cat soon at the advice of Morgans mother, and this time we're going to make sure to get a real kitty, since she really wanted one in the first place (especially an orange tabby).

Like I said though, I just can't believe that he's gone forever. I thought I would spend years and years would both my lady and our kitties, and especially since our cats were becoming so close, it only twists the knife more. frown

First off, than you to everyone out there who left kind words for me. We both appreciate it. On that note, i've been seeing babies and pregnant women at work and it's been getting me kinda depressed. I guess that's to be expected, though.

I want a new job. On the same day (poetic, eh?) that we found out that a child will NOT be...
