Seems to me that lots of people are mentally programmed from the moment the are born that thier most basic human desires are wrong and evil. Dont get mad at me....this is really just my own opinion...but it seems to me that trait is most commen in christians. There isnt a damn thing with desires.......in fact its how you deal with them that help to make you the kind of person you are. But when kids are brought up thinking that they are wrong...it causes alot of confusion.

from the sounds of things i would venture to assume that you have a profound appreciation and curiousity for the human form. it seems the same to me as the way one would remark to a friend while speculating on a possible scenario or experience. in all areas of life and love, our speculative nature is evident. if something seems especially aesthetically pleasing and we come to realization we may never be privy to it, most absolutely the disappointment would be felt. i certainly do not view it as a moral dilemma. i especially do not believe this type of emotion to be confined to males...

but then again, what the hell do i know...

I'm curious as to what others said about the photo. It might be one of those dealies where, to you, the flaws are standing out to a great degree, whereas to others it's lost. Not sure, of course. But just keep that possibility in mind.

thanks..i think you're right...i wrote her a letter after i hung up with her...telling her how i really felt about it all...but then i thought i'm not even going to send it or give her any more fuel...especially anything in writing.

I got to admit Im a lil guilty of being baised in my art preferences myself....if Im going to look at something then I want it to be female....not cuz I dont think that males can be good art...but cuz I just like looking at ladies (hell....my fav artists are Shirow and Royo. pretty much ALL they do is nekkid women )

i too miss the classical form of beauty, but more in the vein of appreciation for the female body. i miss the love artists used to have for a female stomach that slightly stuck out (instead of sinking into the body). i miss the appreciation for smooth full curves, not straight boney stick figures. in short, i miss the love for the size 12 girl, which is now replaced with the worship of the size 0. the ultimate ideal of classical beauty, Birth of Venus, has been displaced by the starving model/actress.
