I had to cut a friend of mine off today. I idn't like it, but i felt that it was the only choice i could make. She;s been hurting herself, and she knows it, but she won't change anything. She tells me about it, but she keeps running back (yeah to a guy) to hurt herself again. Her friends see it and tell her that he's bad for her. She tlls me and it's easy to see tha he's bad for her. I tell her constantly (as do her friends) that he's using her, but she just can't get enough of him. She'd ask me for advice and i tell her "get rid of him" but she won't listen. So i had to tell her to go away.

" You know that i care about you, but it hurts me too much to sit idly by and watch you hurt yourself, and then ask me for opinions and advice that you won't take. You constantly say that "you know," but you won't do anything to change.

If you insist on letting him use you, you're on your own.

Talk to me when you decide you've had enough."

I'd like to think that i did the right thing. But i'm so afraid for her sometimes, cuz she's so young. She's like family to me... i hope she comes out of all this ok.
