I think i'm really tired.
The more i find out about this world and the people in it, the more tired i get of living in it and with them. I feel like i want to join a monastery or something. Like, go to Shaolin and get away from the world: just train for like 7 years and then come back and see what i've missed. At least that way i'd be clueless for a good reason, instead of being clueless becuse i had my head in my art.
I really haven't been paying attention to this world and as such i haven't been prepared to discover what i have. Everywhere i look i see less and less that i find uplifting. And there's really nothing i can do about it; about the world anyway. I can continue to improve my own life, and at least make my personal bubble nicer looking.
Something i said about my career goals a little while ago... "I don't like what i've been seeing, so i'm going to create what i like to see, myself." I was talking about cartoons and illustrations, but i think it generally applies to my world view. I don't like what i seein this world. So in order for that to change i'm going to have to create something that i like to see, myself. Whether that will change the world or not is up to the powers that be, but at least i'll have something that i feel is worth looking at.
