So... what's been going on... Been so tied up with getting married that i kinda forgot about other things in life (which is understandable, i guess...).

For one, i quit school. Kinda. I quit AI, because i'm not learning anything really useful there, and i feel like i'm wasting my time AND money. I'll be starting with Animation Mentor (.com) in January, and gettig much better education formyself, not to mention a shot at a real job in animation due to their job placement program AND the fact that the school is run by professional animators. It's also a much shorter program. I wish it had been in existence when i ws applying for schools in the first place, because i DEFINITELY would have chosen that over AI. As it stands, i'll be graduating at the same time that i would have been if i stayed at AI, but i'll actually be learning something, plus i'll be spending 15,000 dollars less. Not a bad deal.

Other news... i'm moving. The lease on this place is over in November, so i'm outta here. Since Animation Mentor is an online school, i'm not limited in where i go, so i'll be moving to Baltimore to be closer to Cairo. I've already got a place all lined up, the soon-to-be roommate is REALLY cool, clean, and drug free, plus she doesn't mind that i'm not staying there for a full year (i'll help her find a new roommate when the time comes, naturally). The place itself is AWESOME, and right near public transportation (so i can get to my job, which i already talked to the GM about, and i can just transfer to Towson); though if i can swing it, i might get myself a little hooptie of a car just to make life easier. Or maybe a bike. I dunno. Too bad i can't take the cat with me. She's already got one (named Chaos) and apparently he HATES other cats. Oh well. We'll see if this one likes being in my room as much as Cracker-Tom.

Anyway, things are looking up and moving forward! Always good things.
