Update time!

Ok, so i changed a few things around in my profile, mostly because of Cairo.

The last week or so has just been wonderful. A fair amount of that has to do with Cairo as well, but also because of just stuff that's been going on. We have a cat now! He's a really cute white cat with dark spot named Cracker (we didn't name him) whose previous owners moved and didn't want to keep him. Their loss, because he's adorable and really affectionate. Seems to like me a lot too, because anytime i've been gone for a significant amount of time (like this weekend) he's immediately meowing and rubbing up against me the second i walk in the door. He also spends a lot of time in my room and sleeping in my bed, which i can't say i mind, cuz he's cuddly. Gives us all an excuse to be a bit cleaner around the house as well, though i think i might be the only one who's really gotten that message so far...

School has been... school... but midterms are over and things are kinda setlling a little bit. Of course they'll pick right back up in about oh, three minutes or so, but it's nice have a brief break. Work has been ok. Business as been picking up a bit as the holidays get closer so at least i can expect higher frequency which hopefully will lead to more tip money. Of course getting home for Christmas will be nigh impossible since i work at a restaurant in a retail store (Nordstrom), so i'll have to wait till afterwards.

Not much else going on except to say this: "Oh no! Three - oh!" But not for another... *checks watch* ... 28 and 3/4 hours. Too bad six of those hours are going to be filled with classes tomorrow...
