I have just read watchmen for the 1st time last week, and I have to say that I was surprised at how much the comic just felt like the 80's. I also dont see it being more difficult to pull off than the new batman movie.

Not an easy situation to find yourself in. Usually an owner makes a post offering the group to whoever wants it and then has the members vote for the new owner - if you're alright with handing over the group like that, then it should be a pretty easy way to rid yourself of it...
