i am mean to my friends when i dont smoke. i abuse them for being smarter than me, and funnier than me. i hate them because their sunglasses are darker than my sunglasses. their clothes are blacker than my clothes. their favourite bands are more obsure than my favourite bands. they read books that are longer, and have smaller typefaces. their hair is more rock and roll than my hair. their tatoos are inkier than mine, their peircings are bigger and longer. their relationships are more stable. their emotions are stronger. their perfume is more expensive. their cars are faster. their breakups are more soulsmashing. their past is longer. their job is better. their posters are brighter. they have more emails in their inboxes, more comments on their journals. they have more text messages on their smaller phones. their mp3 collections are bigger and longer and louder. their computers are swifter. their degrees are worth more than my degree. their parents love them more. their glasses frames are thicker. their photography is blacker and whiter.

this is why i hate the people i love and why as soon as i can i should get me a pack of cigarettes.
