wow. not to be redundant here, because i'm sure we've all noticed...
...but oh my fucking god there are so many new girls!!!!! not to knock new girls...i haven't even been here a year yet. but just in the time i have been around, i feel like the # of girls have tripled. like i moved to a small rural town and now suddenly find myself in a large sub-burb of LA.
i definitely can't keep track anymore of who is who. i go to the girls group, and i have no idea who half of the girls are. the upside is that it decreases a "clique-ey" aspect i''ve felt around the site. and it definitely spreads the word and keeps SG growing. the more people this site can affect in a positive way, the better. the downside is i feel like i'm swimming in a strange sea with no reference point. i also worry that 'too many' girls will create a watered down quality...does that make sense? not in ANY way the fault of any of the girls, old or new. but to use the small town metaphor...when a small town gets too big for it's britches, the things that made that town unique are often lost. so my hope is that SG can continue to grow and welcome in new beauties, while at the same time maintaining it's integrity and not feel too impersonal, or overwhelming.
