after an excruciating emotional blowout fri evening-saturday morning, in which my head was gripped by this gigantic claw of fear with talons of doubt and i was left feeling like someone had taken an old fashioned manual lawn mower to my heart and gut, i then went on to have an absolutely fabulous saturday! eesh.

i went sea kayaking today! my friend
starkgirl called me up and suggested it out of the blue. i was so game!! so we met in mill valley at "mama's royal cafe" (after sitting in traffic with the rest of the yahoos going to mt. tamalpais), where we had yummy snacks, and then drove to sausalito. we rented a two seater kayak and after the briefest instruction possible, we sat our asses in this little noodle of a boat and paddled out into the bay. the weather here continues to be amazing, so you can imagine what it would have been like on the water. the sea lions popped up every once in a while to check us out before slooping back down (yes, i did just make up a word). WONDERFUL. just what the witch doctor ordered.

tomorrow nightlotus is doing improv at cafe bellie, in berkeley, so come on out...i'm not vouching for the whole event, but
jasmine, sweetpeasscarletbegonias and i will be there...so what more do you need? well, besides a drink...
