just got back from my aunt and uncle's where we had thanksgiving. 13 years ago when i first became vegetarian, dinner was stressful and a fiasco, and i think i had to leave the table and go cry in my room after being harrassed by my family. now this year there were several veggie entres, made by myself, my mom, my cousin and his girlfriend.

i've always been the black sheep in my family, but every year it gets better and better, and this year was wonderful. my cousin has her first baby... a little cupie with thunder thighs, and it just.felt.so.good to be with my family. i was soaking it up all day...just couldn't get enough.
