anybody seen that new flick "thirteen" yet? saw it on friday. i.n.t.e.n.s.e. reminded me a little of my own teenage dramas, and also made me feel lucky that i somehow escaped unscathed. and wondering just what part of me held me back from going as far out as those girls did. because i could have. i had all the same choices. the first scene was really hard for me to watch too...the two girls are "huffing"...and a friend of mine died that way in highschool, so in a way it was like watching her last moments, which i wasn't there for. whoosh.

Thirteen is KIDS but with suburban girls. I was suprised more sex didn't go down in the film, you sort of get that one scene where they imply she did something but you never find out what. I wish it talked more about why that experience happens to certain girls and not others.
