again, a mazillion thank yous for all the sweet comments on my set. my heart is full!
so i just got back from a week on sullivan's island off the coast of so. carolina. oh.my.god. it was so incredible! my boss flew me out there to help her for the week, and i'd work about two hours in the morning, two in the afternoon, and spent the rest of the time completely. relaxing. on the beach. with the warm warm air and the warm warm water....aaaahhhhh....
the highlight:
*i swam with dolphins four days in a row!! i followed them around while they were fishing in the low tide...whenever they got close (w/in five feet was the closest), they would surface all the way out of the water to look at me. don't know if it was, "who are you?" or "stop fucking following us" but it was still amazing!.
whenever they caught up with a school of fish, all of a sudden the water above them would start to whirlpool, and then there'd be this huge uprising explosion of water with fish flying in every direction. then a congregation of fins as they chowed down. it was brilliant and hilarious! totally playing with their food!
it's good to be back....missed you all!
