aw f.u.c.k. i'm so exhausted.

i came home last night after dance rehearsal to discover that leo had chewed up the front door again. didn't tell ya before, but on monday, when i left him alone to go to work, he totally freaked, and chewed the wood on the bottom of the door. i understand he was totally traumatized, and i've figured out that he is much happier if he has unrestrained access to the outdoors (i think he was a country dog in his previous life), so i thought it was a one time deal. now i'm figuring out that it's a "everytime i leave him alone in the house" deal. i know these are behavior issues that can be worked with, BUT i can't have a dog that i can't leave alone. THEN we went for a walk after the door incident, me in my bathrobe, just so he can pee, and he slips his collar and i have to chase him for 3 blocks, robe and flip flops flyiing.

so he's on probation. my boss really likes him, and i've been bringing him to work...maybe there is a good compromise yet...
