just got back from chico a few hours ago...
on my way home, i saw a dog stranded in the median of the highway. it was at least a 100 degrees in the sun, and i could tell just by looking at him that he was hot and hyperventilating. i also knew that it was just a matter of time before he got hit by a car. i couldn't just leave him there, so i pulled over, ran back, and brought him to my car. it was outside Vacaville, an hour from San Fran. thing is, now i have this chow in my house, who is totally confused and just really wants to go home. the freeway was no where near homes...just farmhouses off in the distance. i'll get him checked for a microchip at the spca, and i've put a few ads on the internet, but otherwise....whadoido?
