I'll be home in a month and a week, then it's Vegas for Midnight Seven's and back east for a week in Gulf Shores with the whole fam damnily. No more 4 kb/s internet, no more cold showers with all the water pressure of a baby pissing, no more having to choose between chicken or fish EVERY FUCKING DAY, no more retarded AFN commercials, no more sobriety, no more celibacy, no more political correctness.
Can't wait to get home and say hello to unemployment, imminent socialism, ridiculous weather, Craigslist without whore ads, the demise of half-ass American cars, more reality TV, Tea Parties (WTF?), and walking around unarmed.

I know I sound bitter and unpleasant, but it's for good reason. And I really am happy about coming home. And going to Afghanistan next year.
