Never again will I give my heart to another person, I'm convinced that I'll never find a girl that will want me and me only.
Never again willl I go out of my way to try and make a girl feel like I love her.
Never again will I open up my true inner feelings to another person in hopes they'll love me back.

Is it really worth it?
In the long run will it ever matter? ..... NO
In the end I'll just feel used up and left behind, like I always do.

It's a horrible mess. I never want to fall in love again. I say that every time, and it is TRUE. I wish we could just shut off our feelers . . . never have to deal with the death that is love.
You will though . . . do all those things again. Go ahead and make a promise you can't keep, it's part of the healing to harden your heart. And we will be here listening. And someday soon you will be all a-twitter with the brush stroke of new infatuation painting your entries and we will be here for that too.
Life is lived in these extremes.
