Bonus: I thought I was going to be on salary with this new job at $13/hour which would mean I'd get just under a grand each paydate. Actuality: I'm still on hourly! Seeing as I get 5 hours of OT a week, this makes quite the difference (every little bit helps!). So now I'll be getting just over 1k a payday! Wooo!
Who's there? Oh! It's Matthew and he's come to join the mid 20k annual earnings club! BEEOOOTCH!
Now I know that's not a whole lotta money, but baby steps ya know? I've been living hand-2-mouth since college ('99) and you have no idea how many times I told myself, "Man! If only I could make even 25k a year I'd be set!" Of course now I see how very fucking untrue that notion is, but it's still more money then I've ever made in my life before and pretty exciting. Even though I still have tens of thousands of dollars in debt and school loans to pay back, just that extra bit of cash coming in will realllly help stable things out.
Pricia has some stuffs up on ebay now after making some very cute lookin stuff! I would link everybody too it, but everybody on my friends list that looks at this (all 5 of you) has most likely already seen it on her journal or gotten word one way or another.
Halloween right around the corner! Just another excuse for me to yet again attempt to rot all my teef out. I don't care because by the time I'm 30, 35, I'll have enough money to get all my teeth replaced with the metal, porcelian covered ones that they screw into your jaw. Then my teeth would be indestructible! Man... I can't wait to be able to slowly replace all my body parts with bionic ones. CyberMatthew activated!
