so interesting. a random employee that i speak to every rare occasion (as being in the dept. that i am i kinda have spoken to everybody at least once) and she asked how much longer i had in my dept. i told her i was out in a couple months only to which she made the *get out* gesture with her thumb, to which i nodded in total compiance that yes, once my current commitment is up, i wanna get the fuck out of this dept. that's when she said "i've heard good words about you."

that's pretty fucking awesome when people you barely talk to say that kinda stuff. i've already spoken to some people that are higher up and have some power (TDs, show leads, vfx coordinators, etc.) and they know when i'm done in this dept. as well so they're "keeping an eye on me". jesus...if i don't live up to expectation i'm going to be massivly dissapointed in myself. ....massivly. all i can do though is try my best!

all in all though, spirits are high and i'm doin pretty damn good. how is your week going? any big plans this weekend?
