Just thinking how I should get back into writing, said to myself "Maybe a journal entry would be a good way to start" so here I am. Normally I write poetry but for now I'll just give you something old.



Your Shoes

hard to wake up in a strange place
but what if in a new body
looking through your eyes
everything awkwardly positioned
couldn't see my reflection in the mirror
just you staring back at me
the people have different expressions
hard to tell if you were liked
or so fearful people are kind
another life lead so eccentric
how can I do what you do
the love I get is not what I feel
sleep to leave the dream
and all is well in the morning
