when kisses meant something?
when that would be the perfect culmination of an evening.
you drop of the girl.
when you were younger, you walked her to the corner of her street after spending the night at the park or pizza shop, hoping she didnt break her curfew.
when you were older, you would drive her home. maybe you went to the movies or went to a diner.
but it was simpler.
you didnt skip levels.
you didnt expect anything.
and thats what made the anticipation so much better.
i look back a lot more fondly on a lot of the girls that i "just" kissed and those experiences.
i wonder what happened.
but most importantly, i appreciate them.
