Last night I had a dream that I attended a Paul Mcartney concert with my parents. As we were driving there, I thought that it would be in some huge stadium, but instead, it was held on the balcony of some funky, medium-sized, art-deco style auditorium with big, plush, (but rather grimy) theatre seats. There was a makeshift stage at the edge of the balcony, with only about fifty people in attendance. For some reason, my dad sat outside and refused to watch it, and my mom complained about it throughout the whole show. Meanwhile, I kept worrying I was going to run into someone I knew there. I was definitely there against my will. I remember being a bit worried that Paul was going to teeter off the edge of the balcony and fall to his death below--there was nothing behind the stage, no railing or anything, just empty space, and he kept backing up while he was singing. I should also mention that he was disproportionately sized compared to everything else--he was at least eight or nine feet tall, and his head and hands were unusually large...

For some reason, I couldn't find this dream in my dream interpretation book.

I need to start working on getting a lucid dream, I've never had one. It's be nice to have some control over my dreams for once...

1.) Have you ever had a lucid dream? If so, how often do you have them? If you do, you should know that I'm jealous. robot Please give me tips on how to cultivate them, if you can. One friend suggested that I visualize a mirror before I go to sleep, and look for that mirror in my dreams. Once I see my reflection in it, that's supposed to be a key to triggering the lucid dream. It worked for her, but it hasn't worked for me yet...

ninji:
your journal entries, i've noticed, always encourage others to explore their own selves, states of beings, radio stations of consciousness. that's quite cool.
