Can someone please explain to me why people who live and work in the world of computers, who have entire conversations that involve more numbers than actual words, who have enough technical training to choke a digital horse, cant seem to grasp the intricacies of a friggin coffee maker??? confused

Ahem

So our cable was turned off this week. Yeah, we really should pay that bill

But on the bright side, the roommates and I actually sat around and talked last night! Real human conversation that plunged beyond the usual, so, how was your day, chitchat. For hours, even! eeek

So that was kinda nice.

Still busy as all hell even busier than I was before, if thats possible. Opportunities seem to be popping up everywhere I turn. Granted most (if not all) wont go anywhere, but ya never know. Ive been around long enough now to appreciate the fact that if youve got your foot in the door, you dont dare take it out. Just a few short years ago I was not cocky, but a little too lucky for my own good. There were opportunities that I let slip by because I figured theyd come around again. Ive since learned that such is not the case.

And so Im chuggin along, seein where it all goes. Hopefully P.E. will think the distant stare in my eyes is cute and my silence charming

Anyway, have a lubly weekend. smile

FYI, AZ actually has the same # of climate zones as CA (or more depending on the source) and they're more evenly distributed. The soil is mostly clay and rock (they used a jack hammer to dig the hole for one of my trees) rather than sand. The only "deserts" in these parts are empty lots.

Now go and impress your friends with your new found knowledge.
