Well, the credit card never turned up. Luckily the good people at American Express were terrified by the thought that I should take a break in my spending, and I found a new card waiting for me when I came into work in this morning. No mystery charges, so all is well.

The weekend was pretty quiet, all and all. Sat around and watched Hellboy with the Evil one on Friday night, then hung out with her sister while she babysat on Saturday And it was in this time that I learned two things:

1) Theres nothing more disgusting than watching a three year old eat guacamole. Fortunately this was countered by his referring to it as holy moley, thus allowing him to retain a modicum of cuteness.

2) Theres nothing more humiliating than watching a three year old display greater coordination and overall ability on a razor scooter than you ever showed on a tricycle.

Unfortunately, the Mexican food on Saturday put the hurt on, and pretty much knocked my ass out of commission until Sunday afternoon. Lots of movies and napping filled the void.

Anyway, we eventually made it up to Melrose, hit the comic shop and browsed through a few vintage stores in search of something to wear for prom. Unfortunately, no luck was had

Back in the day, I had a great powder blue tux from the 70s that fit like a glove. Unfortunately I made the mistake of loaning it out, and well Yeah, I really didnt want to wear again it after it came back. I didnt even bother asking what the stains were There was nothing to do at that point but toss it...
