Monday You foul beast. Why do you plague me so???
Oh well
Feeling much better now. Ive still got a little crap in my sinuses and in the back of the throat, but its tolerable.
Gee, I bet you all were just dying to know that
Anyway, FYI, Vespers PERHAPSEVIL again Go figure
Anyway, a good weekend was had. We Vegged out most of Friday and Saturday, moving only occasionally when our tummies got to rumbling. We finished the first season of Twin Peaks and watched Evil Dead 2. Oh, and we did manage to get out and hit the Hollywood History Museum in the old Max Factor building on Saturday. Its one of those things that Ive driven past a zillion times but never bothered checking out.
Im glad we did, for inside I saw THIS!!!
Oh the sheer joy of it! Not only did we see Pee-Wees bike, but we saw the prescription pill bottle found next to Marilyn Monroe's body!!! Oh, and a bunch of her dresses and stuff.
But yeah, the bike alone was worth the rice of admission.
We roamed around a bit more and hit a book and poster shop that has just about everything under the sun. I went ahead and picked up these two:
Yeah, call me crazy, but I have that much faith in em though, as Ive said before, Star Wars movies are now graded on something of a curve; even if they suck, theyre still pretty good.
Finally on Sunday we took Evils cousins to Boomers, one of those nifty amusement centers with the go-karts, mini-golf, batting cages, etc. I surprised myself by actually managing to hit a ball or two. I thought I was gonna seriously embarrass myself, as I havent wielded a baseball bat (well, except for home defense purposes) in years.
Evil then proceeded to further the kiddies corruption by pulling up 2 Live Crew on the ipod. (Sorry, but As Nasty As They Want To Be is an old guilty pleasure that must be kept on hand for nostalgic emergencies) The thing is, these two werent even mildly fazed
Kids grow up so fast now Back in my day, just looking at that album cover could get you grounded.
So yeah, thas about it
