Watching the news, youd think that the Michael Jackson trial was the only thing going on in the world. Though I did read something about Norways prime minister decrying Ikea for only depicting men in their instruction manuals.
I guess its kinda reassuring to know that there are meddlesome bureaucrats with too much time on their hands in every country. Anyway, from now on, if I see a girl in an instruction manual, Im making a girl do the work for me. Yes, my egalitarianism knows no bounds.
So after seeing Trekkies, PERHAPSEVIL said she actually wanted to go to a Star Trek convention. And guess whats happening in Pasadena tomorrow? Ive given her fair warning, but she remains undaunted.
Anyway, Ill be sure to take pictures.
Speaking of the world of geekdome, anybody else see the Episode III trailer last night? Some of my friends actually watched the entire episode of the O.C., fearful that they might miss it. I assured them that as no self-respecting Star Wars fan would otherwise be caught dead watching that drek, theyll save the trailer for the last five minutes. Thus torturing the audience and inflating the ratings for a crappy show.
Its all part of the new cruelty.
Anyway, all I can say is WOW! I really cant wait. I know that the previous two had their flaws some of them great big, gaping, puss-infected flaws, but still Beer, sex, pizza and Star Wars: even when its bad, its still pretty good.

My cousin will be in town with his girlfriend or is it fiance now? Whatever the case, Im sure Ill be hanging out with them at some point. My family is pretty compact, and this is one of the few cousins I stay in contact with. Hes kind of an unapplied genius. He always tested off the charts as a kid, but ended up a cook. Dont get me wrong, thats no insult. Hes a damn good one, but it certainly made for an unexpected turn of personality.
