Its gonna be one of them days

Evil's car wouldnt start this morning and my service engine light came on as I was driving to work. Passed an accident on the way; a guy was still sitting in his car with blood running down his face. Thats just not something you want to see first thing in the A.M. And to top it all off, there was some kind of server error (or something) over the weekend and, idiot that I is, there are a few files that I didnt bother backing up last week.

No one to blame but myself, but still

Anyway, pretty good weekend overall. Very quiet. Lots of sitting and doing nothing. Which was pretty much the only option on Sunday, what with the marathon and all. Once again L.A. blows my mind; yeah, lets shut down half the city so some guy from Kenya and twenty thousand losers can use it as their own personal track.

As you may have noticed, civic togetherness is not a motivating factor in my life.

Oh well At least this year I was content to sit around the house. In years past, when I had places to be, Ive actually started yelling at the runners and flipping them off.

Anyway, the highlights: eating, drinking, basketball, legos, Twin Peaks, drunken shenanigans, hung-over shenanigans.
