This is L.A.; a great big sprawling metropolis. The odds of running into someone are infinitesimal; on par with winning the lottery.
Why, oh why couldnt I have won the lottery instead of running into the ex?
Actually, it wasnt all that bad. Awkward of course, but not as painful as I would have imagined. And to be honest, it provided a little bit of relief. I got the sense that we could indeed be friends again someday. Three and half years is a lot of history to just try and forget. And anyway, I tend to have a good track record when it comes to old flames. Heck, I still occasionally talk to my very first girlfriend from way back when; she who kindly took it upon herself to make me a man. Well, she tried anyway. She may have popped my cherry, but I still refuse to give up my action figures.
And tomorrow is me birthday!!! Already got a couple gifts; the first season of Deadwood from my best bud, and the parents got me a Bose sound dock for the ipod! Anything more is just icing on the cake.
And speaking of Deadwood: FUCKING AWESOME! I may have to subscribe to HBO On second thought Nah I actually prefer watching shows on DVD marathon stylee.
Dont know that Im doing anything special. I share my birthday with a friend, so I just tend to piggyback on his festivities Honestly though, Id be content if someone wanted to try and do Disney again.

Ooo! I just remembered I may be going home to a clean house tonight! The roomies and I decided to get a cleaning lady to come over every couple weeks. Its necessary. Three men in one dwelling make for some serious yuckage. And as theres no shortage of cheap (read illegal) labor in L.A., we may as well take advantage.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, were exploitive white devils, but what are ya gonna do? And anyway, one of the roomies is Lebanese, so hes more of an off-white devil.
Oh, and once again Ive been given reason to believe that someone has access to my brain. I found out that theres a TV show coming on that is frighteningly similar to a project that Ive been working on. Why does this continue to happen???
