You know how every once in a while you see, hear or experience something that just defies explanation? Its not necessarily an important, Earth shattering event, just something that leaves you scratching your head.

Like the other night when we ordered Chinese food The delivery guy was new, apparently right off the boat. Nice enough guy, but as I was signing the credit card receipt he suddenly asks me, do you know the shampoo that makes the hair go up?

I was dumbfounded. That was the last question I was expecting. Its usually, how do you get back to third street from here, or something like that. Why was he inquiring about shampoo? Was he in awe of my own hair perhaps? I mean, Im happy to say that I got good genes on that front. No recession, no thinning. Quite happy about that. I figure someday, if Im ever stuck in a retirement home, Ill still be getting some.

But still, what possessed this guy to ask me a about shampoo while handing me my Mongolian beef??? Ya see, I know at the end of the day it doesnt really matter, but still WHY???

I just shook my head and told him that Ive never been too particular. He smiled and went away
