I finally got to the see the woman in action this weekend. No, she's not a porn star. She's a tour guide at Universal Studios. No shit. It was kinda bizarre seeing the asian tourists snapping pictures of her. But I guess that's what's cool about that gig: it's one of those iconic L.A. jobs. Most every tourist who comes to L.A. goes on the Universal Studios tour. It's just one of those things...

Anyway, I got a good chuckle. And hey, she's damn good at what she does. What's crazy is she also works as an assistant at Disney Imagineering during the week. Yeah, fraternizing with the enemy. Weird, huh?

She's trying to stash away cash as she's also back in night school picking up a few extra credits so she can get into this animal training program.

She makes me feel very lazy...

We saw the Chronicles of Riddick today. I know most people are gonna hate it, and to be honest I was pretty luke warm most of the way through... But that last shot... I really got it! Riddick is a sci-fi homage to Conan. I dunno, I'll have to see it again, but that revelation re-contextualized the whole movie for me, and really won me over.
