I am happy to say that tonight I will be toasting the end of what was undoubtedly one of the most insane experiences of my life. I am finally done writing on the soap!

One month and four hundred pages later I can now take a deep breath, pound back a shot and pat myself on the back for job well done

Okay, it's not exactly "well done," so much as "it is what it is," but I'm proud as hell for making it to the end without killing anyone. All of the writers were getting pretty nutty. After a certain point you just can't come up with even the most basic dialogue or action. At one point there at the end it took me half an hour just to put "It's later in the afternoon and sun is setting," on the page.

Anyway, it was pretty funny how each of us found ways to entertain ourselves while writing. One guy used Fugazi songs for all of his episodes' titles, while I worked in a line of dialogue from Star Trek in each of mine.

A lot of other crap has gone on in the last month but my brain is too fried right now to even try to recount it all. Maybe next week

Or the week after.
