I’m tired… Tired, but good.
So… what’s been going on?
Lots, I guess… but it’s all a blur. I hate this… I finally get a chance to sit down and update but I can’t seem to recall any of the things that I intended to comment on or rant about. I swear that someday, when life returns to a more manageable pace, I’ll start updating again and maybe even leave a comment or two.
I’m going home to surprise my Dad for his sixtieth birthday this weekend. It’ll be a nice break… But DAGNABIT! Why does his birthday have to fall on Halloween weekend??? It’s the one night of the year that I actually go out, and now I’m gonna miss it. I even had a kickass Indian Jones costume at the ready.
Oh well. I guess it’ll be nice to see home without the usual blanket of Christmas snow.
Oh, and if I left any random comments in your journal last weekend, you’ll have to forgive me… or rather, you’ll have to forgive PERHAPSEVIL. She gets a kick out of making me look like an ass when she’s three sheets to the wind.

Silly girl who makes me worry. There! There’s something for me to rant about:
Ya see, she lives with her little sis who is dealing with a psycho ex-boyfriend who has all the mental capacity of a turnip… And that’s being generous. Seriously, P.E. read aloud a note that he wrote to her sister for me; I shit you not, the average kindergartner has a greater command of the language. I can only feel sorry for him as another victim of California’s educational system…
Though at the end of the day, it is the parents fault…
Seriously, with all of these ridiculous government handouts, can we not find the money to subsidize sterilizations??? I propose this: One hundred dollars cash to anyone who baby-proofs themselves. I figure that anyone who’d take such an offer has no business being a parent in the first place. Moreover, it’d give the pro-lifers less to complain about.
So anyway, back to the psycho: he’s potentially violent plus incredibly stupid. That’s a dangerous combination. I just pray that he doesn’t suffer from any sexual deficiencies. God only knows what that would lead him to. Remember Sonny Bono in Airplane 2???

Can somebody explain to me why so many smart girls make stupid choices when it comes to boys??? Oi…
So yeah, might have to take P.E. to the target range…
We saw MirrorMask over the weekend. It was pretty good. I was most impressed by how McKean was able to translate his visual style to the big screen. As far as the story… If you’re already a fan of Gaiman you’ll certainly enjoy the film, though it probably won’t make you appreciate his writing any more than you already do.
