OK, I REALLY need the update this thing...

If I had to pick one word to describe my life as of late, it would have to be nonstop. The good news is both the day job and the moonlighting have rendered some pretty exciting possibilities:

Theres a good chance that 2006 will see me visiting London AND maybe India too!!! biggrin

London is looking good, though India is still very much up in the air. And to be honest, I wont be heartbroken if it falls through. I tend to think that any locale that requires a regiment of vaccinations and where you cant drink the water, is a place probably best avoided. puke A less than adventurous policy, I know But remember that episode of Seinfeld where the old Indian couple refused to go back to the homeland even for their sons wedding??

Yeah

What else?

Last Saturday me and the P.E. went to check out the set of a short film my friend is making. They were shooting in this incredible house built way back in 1904 - kinda reminded me of the Paper Street house in Fight Club by way of the Haunted Mansion. Needless to say we were both frothing at the mouth. I proclaimed that I would indeed kill to have a house like that. Not an innocent person, mind you, but someone deserving of death: a murder, child molester, rapist career politician, etc wink

Sunday was all about hanging out at the pub and consuming mass amounts of alcohol while being entertained by a pretty decent Beatles cover band. Not a bad way to spend a day and we were definitely spent by the end.

Thus Monday we both called in sick and played hooky! biggrin

I figured this was a good opportunity to get out and see a movie, what with my hating humanity and all. I love seeing movies during the week; no crowds, no screaming babies and no rabid teenagers. Its the way life should be.

So went to see Serenity, but about fifteen minutes into the movie an alarm went of as a prerecorded message informed us that there was an emergency in the building and that we had to evacuate. For a split second there we were thought that it was part of the movie, but no, we were really kicked out.

And theres nothing like the ambiguity of the word emergency to get your heart racing. What could it be? A bomb threat? Fire? Incoming tsunami? A mad gunmen at Hotdog on a Stick??? eeek

Whatever the case, Serenity did look good (thanks for the tip, Stuzz), so were gonna try again next weekend.

That's the long and short of it.

Hope ya all is good. smile
stuzzy:
motherfucker! Lemme' know what you think of it.

India? Yeah I'm with you on that one.
