Ah, Monday But its an OK kind of Monday. Im actually in a fairly good mood.

I decided against any ex encounters this weekend its for the best. Thanks for all the advice/words of support.

But as kind of a side note to the whole ex thing, I got the weirdest IM today from one of her friends saying that Ive been in her thoughts...

ps. if you get a paper cut in the eye, sue.

Instead of watching the clock you could be watching DVDs? There are some great little portable players now if you don't have a DVD in your desktop... wink

RTF or PDF is fine, but anything more arcane than that is probably beyond me... smile

Question: how long do you wait before trying to reconnect with an ex as a friend? The Woman actually invited me to her birthday party this weekend. Its been four months. Seems a little soon to me Anyway, even if I dont do the party, she wants to have lunch on Sunday. I just dont think that I can handle that right now. I...

And so it continues This week has seen yet another wedding announcement AND a friend elope. Will this never end?

Anyway, yeah, my buddy walked in last night with a new ring. This is the guy that brought the girl back from Bulgaria with him. Her work visa was about to expire, so he decided to move things up a bit and made a mad...

no overtime. ahh the joys of salary.

As far as your job goes, you have a choice you know. Keep your living expenses as low as you can, watch your money, don't use credit, and you'd be surprised at how little you can live on. I took a pay cut to start as a bottom rung IT guy, coming from a top rung phone technician position. Now I am doing what I love and learning all the time.

If you don't want the position because it will take more time away from your projects, then don't take it, and spend the time working on your projects. I've seen some of your writing on here, you're pretty good, you have the potential to do something very good with this talent, do it for yourself, not the soulless machine that is corporate America. Don't give them the best you have, keep it for yourself.

3 worst villians ever?

i think that when people reach a certain age, and they see everyone else around them pretending like they are happily married with kids, they feel the peer pressure.

plus, its better to have someone to be unhappy with the rest of your life than to be alone, right?

that is what they must be thinking.

villians?
-that thing from "It", killin kids, that thing was fucked up.
-"w", he is pretty fucked up, if you ask me.
-the clown under the bed in "poltergeist", that this is the single most scary thing ever. fuck that shit man, i cant believe i even thought about it, damn!

ohhh, and i believe a turtleneck party is when everyone has their uncircumsized penises hanging out.

just a guess.

I have evil friends. One of them just sent me what is certainly the most horrible, depraved piece of pornography ever set to video. Indeed, it may well have served as the inspiration for "Back Door Sluts 9" of South Park fame. Why do these videos always come out of Germany and Japan? What the hell did we do to those people in WWII???

I'll...

I think just about everyone has had that dream where youre back in school taking a big exam but you havent studied. For me its always algebra. I was born without a left brain and that subject still inspires nightmares.

Anyway, I had a slight variation on that dream last night. In this one, I was participating in a reunion performance of our high school...

Thanks for all that; I'm going to fwd it to her. It's a lot of responsibility for me, and I don't see the advantage to pitching it here instead of in France, but I will.
When I lived in Paris, I was in the business, so maybe I should know more about this red tape stuff. I went to the Cours Florent, wrote plays, but my experience with the "higher-ups" was as an actor. All the writing I did I handled myself - found actors, rented theaters, or performed my own monologues. I wrote an entire novel and had a blast with it, but the thought of doing the query letter and formatting is, well, a turn-off. That's just me. So to do it for someone else is a bit daunting and distasteful. Anyway, thank you. kiss

Anger, fear, aggression... The dark side, are they...

How can a day start so well and end with me almost going postal? I managed to stay my tongue and not emit red hot lasers from my eyes, but it took every ounce of self-restraint in my person.

Sorry to be vague, but I don't really want to talk about it. Which makes for a pretty...

Well, I don't know that any time is a good time to stop sniffing glue. Unless you're saying "fuck it" and moving up to straight ether.

Sometimes office bullshit requires the mastery of interpersonal communication akido... you must show the unenlightened their error utilizing their own imbalance. Or put chips in their brain... (either potato or micro should work)

Keep rocking the unfree world

And were back

All and all it was a good break once I calmed down anyway. My parents are truly great people though they seem to be turning into Morty and Helen Seinfeld, with occasional spikes into Frank and Estelle Costanza territory.

Anyway, it was a lot of eating, reading and writing. In other words, a whole lot of time spent on my ass. I...

Well the fat lady... she hath sung... Got an email from the manager... Passes all around on the latest script. "Too dark," was the general reaction. Oh, but there's one producer who's interested in toning it down and turning it in to more of a "family adventure fantasy."

"Go screw." was my reaction.

I can live with failure. Selling my soul, however, is not in...

well, good night to ya. I've got eyebleeding work in the morning at an ungodly hour.

That is awesome! Those pictures are expensive. No one I take to Disneyland even knows that there's a gallery there. That patio in the center up there is so peaceful and shady, there's no one ever there. I tell myself that I'm going to get something to eat and bring it up there, instead of having to face the brutal crowds and fight for seats. Doesn't happen.
Did you have a one or two park pass?
What was the best part of your day?
What was the worst?
What did you eat?
For me, what I eat can either make or break my day. If I ate something bad, it would make me bitter for the rest of the day.
I'm asking too many questions, but you did go to my favorite place.
Pedophile Jesus!

Big Lebowski! That actually took me awhile.
Bowling's fun! I'm bad at it, but it's fun. I think I got an 86 last time. Boo yah!

The day of the turkey cometh

For it was written in the chronicles of Gobbler the Wise that each year a great purge would befall the brotherhood of turkeys. The foul hairless apes, wishing to slake their hunger on the flesh of the docile bird, would beset the peaceful turkey villages. Again and again they would come, bringing with them a cornucopia of horror; oh...

I love my mom, the strange and perverse don't shock her, She used to be a bartender. She's probably dirtier than me, in the disguise of a sweet old lady. Oooh, she's sneakier than me too.

There's a scary movie called Uncle Sam so you could classify that one under The 4th of July.

Saturday night was ugly just plain ol ugly Inebrius-Maximus would have been my gladiator name. The party was OK, but the cross-section wasnt as fun as it could have been. I woke early hoping to grab a showing of The Incredibles before the little ones descended on the theaters... But no, they were already out in full force.

Thus I got to see National Treasure...

Actually it wasn't as craptastic as I was expecting it to be. You had to turn your suspension of disbelief to maximum, but it did have a fairly lucid plot......
