Last week some asshole decided to try and use my paypal credit card online. How they got a hold of my info and tried to make a purchase of close to 1,600.00 at an online place called www.zonelab.com Well the card was declined even though it is backed up by another bank accound due to the amount being so high and the source was not recognised on the card as well. I was told by paypal several different things. I have no idea how they got my info but they did but it's pretty easy to do things like this in this day and age and there really is not much I can do about it anyway. I am not going to sit and torture myself how and why and who could have done this. I already have an ulcer, and I don't need another one. Paypal was helpful and sent me out a new credit card, which still has not yet arrived. The cops on the other hand were absolute assholes to me. Told me I should have been more careful and that this was such a small amount that there was not much they could do but file a police report. They would look into it but they also told me that it has to be a large amount like 50 grand for them to investigate it and take the claim seriously. Zonelab was no help either, told me that they could not give me any info as who had tried to use the card because of privacy laws.

I use that paypal card for quite a bit of what I buy. Mostly business related items but since that is how most people pay me there is always money coming in and going out of the card and now since I can't use it untill the new one gets here. Bleh, this sucks. The mail already came today and there was nothing but another bill. And I got an email this morning from paypal saying that since there was not much info as to who did this or how they did it that the case would be dropped.

I could not sleep last night, kept waking and I have a headache today. Found out that a friend of mine is in rehab yet again. It is getting to the point that I am ready to cut all ties with him. I've tried to be a good friend and listen and be there but he just keeps doing this over and over again. I should just go and ride my bike but inventory and packaging and listing need to be done. I had to get my attorney involved with a buyer of mine in Canada. She owes me a chunk of change and has not paid me for what sold in 6 months and I could really use that money since my computer, the one I have left since the pc crashed is on it's last leg.
