omg. i've been having so much fun lately. despite the stresses of being in a grown up profession. basically Bettina rocks my world. she reminded me of how much fun we used to have dancing in victoria. we hit up three of our favourite bars in one night. there was a lot of drunkness (on my part) running around and arguing with loser boys to fuck off. most importantly there was dancing. i like going to bars for free, getting beer from bartenders for free and being offered weed. it doesn't happen so often here in van land. the previous weekend we went to an amazing burlesque show, which she performed at. not sure if it was the pot cookies or what but the whole show was a mixture b/w cirque du soleil mixed with las vegas showgirls. and with the best theme: alice through the looking glass. good times. she also shot a set of me . yay!

Jinxi wrote me to earlier today that she received the parcel i sent. being stuck at work i wondered about the one she sent too, when...upon my return i discovered the post man visited my house too, weirdness! with two pairs of knee highs! two pairs! and little charms for clover and juxtapose issues for tangent_one! she is so getting a picture of me in my spongebob knickers and the rainbow strippy sox she sent.
